2We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. The location is really fantastic. Our room was lovely, spacious and clean. It had lovely views.The restaurant on the roof is wonderful, great setting and great food.
Unfortunately we found that the hotel staff, apart from the concierge, were really unfriendly. Not up to the level of service you expect in a hotel classed as luxury. They all seemed that hey could not care less about their clients. The doorman in 4 days has not said a word to us, not once has he said hello or enquired about our day. He was completely ignoring anyone walking in or out of the hotel.
The front desk staff is not any friendlier, they hardly say hello or smile. When we checked out no one asked wether we had a good stay and if we were happy with the hotel. A few smiles and a little small talk would have made all the difference. This was certainly not up to 5 stars.
