1In my 55 years of age, this has been the most irritating hotel experience I have ever had.
Don't believe the map they have on their website. It shows the hotel just across from Muratella train station, maybe only five minutes far by walking. Well, it took us more than one hour to walk with luggage from the station to the hotel, and what an unpleasant walk!
The road has no street light and no pedestrian sidewalk. So it is extremely dangerous as we had to share the dark and narrow road with fast driving cars and buses and trucks.
We were wondering, why there isn't even some signage to tell us how far the hotel is?!!!
Even when the hotel sign on top of a building came to sight, we were still far from relief. The next challenge was to find the entrance which is well hidden on a back street. Again, no signage to easily lead us there, and we had to find the gate to this jem by several times walking around the block and asking from a passer by.
We stayed only one night in there, and we paid for it the next day when we were checking out. But a month later, I learned from my Credit Card statement that they have charged me for 6 more nights!!! When I called they told me that I had made a reservation for 7 nights and that reservation could not have been cancelled. But the manager on the phone couldn't explain why they haven't told me this at the check-out time...why they did't get my signed authorization for the extra charge at that time...and why the receptionist explicitly confirmed that the reservation had been cancelled!!!
