This is the very first time my colleague and I visit Rome. We had no idea what hotel to put up at, nor what to expect of the hotels in Rome. The hotel location is excellent - within walking distance to the Colosseum and in the heart of historical city center (also shopping district). Train stops are convenient, we walked everywhere. We were happy with the room quality - certainly sufficient for our needs as we were out exploring the city all the time during our very short stay (2 nights). Rome is a lovely city to walk around, everywhere we turned has some history to the building. Food was excellent - we simply tried everything we fancied. Considering we had no knowledge of the Italian language, we got on very well with the hotel staff (who spoke good English and were helpful) and all the people we interacted with in the city. Overall a lovely experience, thank you!

The hotel is located in an old building with other hotel, besides the fact that it includes just the room where to sleep (there is no restaurant, bar or even lobby)I think it was the best choice I have made. Why I advice: It is located in the best place in Rome: 3 minutes walk from Spanish steps and 5 minutes from Trevi fountain. The most spacious rooms in European hotels I have ever seen. The rooms are much bigger than shown in photos The rooms are new and very clean, housekeeping is daily The rooms are not noisy The staff is very helpfull Best choice for that price

I've booked this hotel a few days ago (after reading multiple reviews on this site) and stayed there for a night with my family. It is one of the worst hotels we've seen in Italy -- the walls of the room were dirty, the A/C released water in a plastic barrel multiple times in the middle of the night and there was mold in the bathroom. Despite the fact that we're in the middle of a hot summer, the hotel could not sell us a bottle of water (they 'ran out of stock a few days ago'). If you want to enjoy Rome and always remember its charm, please do not stay at this place. I'm not sure who's reviewing it and giving it high grades...My advice: Don't stay there. It's not worth it!!!
