This experience was fantastic from the moment we checked in. The room was great for being in a European hotel! The hotel staff was fabulous and extremely helpful any time we had a question, and we had a lot! They made excellent restaurant recommendations and contacted several of our tour companies for us and arranged transportation. Great location near the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Also, right on the edge of the shopping district! Also, if you choose to take the metro, just a few blocks up the street. I thought the breakfast was pretty good as well; cereals, pastries, fruits, yogurts, etc. I plan to recommend this hotel to my friend for her honeymoon!

First off dont pre-pay your room, youll never get your money back! My wife and I spent our honeymoon going threw europe and we ended up at the Residenza Antica in Roma. Flat out this place sucks, its terrible and this isnt another American complaing (that exuse is played) if a room sucks it doesnt matter where you are or where your from. When we first entered the place the lobby didnt look too bad then we got our room, really it was more of a small closet. The room was tiny and to top that it looked like a red nightmare, the carpet, wallpaper and bedspread all had the same red desgin that made you want to vomit. Honestly how can ANYONE stay in a 8 by 10 red room without a stray-jacket??? As far as the location, your on a super busy road with lots of restraunts that are all scamming to get your money, they can smell tourist on you and it just ruins the whole vibe. After one night my wife and I hated it so much we flew home early, and to top it off they wouldnt refund our money for the last two nights. Honestly they can keep it because I'm never going back.
