Very nice and clean rooms, quiet, central position. Employees are kind and helpful.

The hotel could be a nice place to stay but make sure not to go for it in the summer, just because there is no conditioning inside rooms and neither the usual little freezer...I need necessarily to complain about the very small peace of mind that you can get there with open blinds from the evening 'till the following dawning: a plenty of seagulls flying by all the time crying, screaming and driving you mad through yuor sleepless night!

Our bad. We stayed at a B&B but breakfast wasn't included. For 5 euros each, we could've eaten better elsewhere. Other than that, the place was nice and the staff friendly. I'd stay here again.

See my review of the Baltic Hotel in regards to background. The Porta Pia is owned by the same people. After the problems we found with the Baltic, the Porta Pia was a good but basic hotel with friendly staff. It was ok for a 1 night stay (possibly 2) but not for much longer.
