Lovely place, very well located near everything with many nice and affordable restaurants nearby. Do not only follow the recommendation of the hotel staff for the restaurants. Find your own, which will most likely be cheaper & better. A lot of inconsistancy with the free breakfast. If you go very early, at opening time, most of the display will not be ready, as you wait later, more stuff gets added. It is as if the cooking staff starts to work at the time the hotel opens up the breakfast area! We stayed for 4 nights and each morning were the same, so it is just not an accident. The desk staff in general is not very pleasant and do have an attitude problem. Specially, the late afternoon & evening staff. One day, we inquired for a place to do our own laundry to be told: "we do offer laundry". I replied that I prefered to do it myself in a laundromat. His response was: "Because it is cheaper". I will still recommend this place because of location and our room was just perfect. As for the attitude, I have found that in general, a lot of Romans are like this, unfortunately!

We were given a very smelly smoking room when we asked for a non-smoking one. The room that we had was very tiny and not clean (the carpets were super dirty). The service is unbelievably bad, it took them 30 min to bring our luggage from the room to the reception area, and they could not order a taxi for us! The only two things I really enjoyed were the breakfast and the very spacious bathroom.
