This hotel is a true boutique design hotel. If you are looking for big rooms and full amenities it is not for you. BUT, style and service are what is provided in a compact well appointed well located package. We have stayed in some 5 star hotels that have not served us as well as this place. Our rating gives a few 5's that is because there are no public areas to the hotel and the number of rooms / type of rooms are limited therefore a 5 is a fair award in our view). Breakfast is continental served in your room (on the dot at the time you request and everything is very fresh and served to order) by a very polite maid who keeps your room immaculate. It is a 10 min walk to the metro (Barberini) and about a 10 euro taxi from the Termini and 15 min walk to the spanish steps, 5 mins to the Borgehese Gardens. We are young 30's couple and walked everywhere from the hotel except to the Vatican (but we walked back) so its location is good, not totally central but out of the crowds and trouble spots. The hotel is part of an old office building and you just have to trust it is there as it shares its door with the offices and there is no sign other then the name on the door bell. The staff are 2 guys both speak excellent english and cannot do enough to help. There is a small supermarket just along from the hotel for cheap water and food. Good tip for changing money is a little internet cafe just across piaza espanga (east) of the big American Express location, for cash they give a rate lots better than any bank we could find AMEX was the worst. We would def go there again

I booked this lovely hotel with a Rome hotels website "bookhotelsinrome.com" at good price (I think). The hotel is way above its rating, it looks like a 5 star hotel. Room is clean and the breakfast is full of nice food. We will definitely go back to it!

Just spent 3 nights at the wonderful Roma Boutique Hotel. Alessandro and his entire staff were incredible! The hotel is wonderfully located within a 5-10 minute walk of the spanish steps. The room was clean, modern and extremely comfortable. The hotel had all the convenieces of a 5 star hotel, wonderful service, great amenities and perfect location. The staff, especially Albert are eager to offer suggestions and destinations for meals and touring and will easily guide you with the help of the complimentary maps. The complimentary breakfast, served whenever you choose is wonderful and fresh and a great way to start the day. Definitely choose this hotel when visiting Rome!!
