Having read several negative reviews of the Hotel Trevi i was concerned about how i was going to be treated. My concerns were laid to rest on arrival as i was greeted very courteously by the receptionist. We didn't actually stay in the hotel but at one of their rooms (at the top floor) several blocks away. Definitely the ideal location for those who enjoy walking as it is central to most of the wonderful sights Rome has to offer.

I recieved a tiney single room: it was as wide as the bed, and even smaller in length. And yet, somehow they manages to fit everything inside it... all in all it's a fine hotel, but I wouldn't really to return there.

Great location and quiet rooms is a rare combination. Staff were very friendly but a little more effort could be made on the cleanliness and a lot more effort on the breakfast (lots of very sweet bread, pastries and juice). Rooms are small but contain all the necessary bits and pieces. Don't forget to visit the San Crispino Gelateria which is just around the corner. The best ice-cream in Rome.

Very nice SMALL room - Thin walls. We could hear every door oopening and closing. Small hotel- tiny elevator NO FOOD AT ALL offered. Location was literally 30 seconds from Trevi Fountain- up the first side street making it quieter at night than if directly in front. Hotel seemed very safe. Bed was better than most. I would return to this property but I would look for another as well before confirming.

Hotel was in an excellent position near trevi Fountain and staff were very helpful. Hotel breakfast was good with excellent coffee (Order the cappuccino). The only problems I found were that the lady a front desk was often there on her own and there was always a long queue to see her. The rooms are very small, but this is the trade off for being in the heart of Rome. Also found that hotel charges much more than a local taxi to book me a taxi to Pomezia.
