Very welcoming and helpful with directions & restaurant recos & reservations. Great shuttle service frm airport for only 5 euro each-so convenient, and comforting- you call when your flight gets in and she tells you exactly where to go to find them( limited hours). Arranged a ride back to airpot also, for about 55 euros , which was easier than getting to train station etc w/luggage. Francesca's freindliness at breakfast is quite nice! very close to Vatican museum, a good walk to other sites. Hightly recommended for the very nice staff, who spoke english.

My sister recomended I stay here as she had so I did. It has a family atmosphere...several lounge rooms..excellent staff and service. I will be returning next year. If you want glass and chrome this is not the place for you but if your looking for a business run by family, includes you as family, and like a cozy place to sleep, you've found the right place. Literally across the street from the Vatican wall.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alimandi via Tunisi. The room was very clean. The bathroom was nice and there was a small bathtub as part of the shower (good enough to sit and soak your feet after a long day of walking). The hotel offers a few extras that many other hotels of comparable price do not offer such as: small exercise facility, several community rooms including a TV room, a billiard room, a piano room, a bar, and a rooftop breakfast area (wonderful breakfast with a nice view). The hotel is located just 1 block north of the Vatican Museum entrance and a quick 10 minute walk to St. Peters square. There are many excellent restaurants within a short walking distance as well. We would definitely consider staying here again.
