4.8This is a great hotel to stay in that's in close proximity to the main train station, as well as a lot of the sites to see in Rome. It's about a 20 minute walk to the Roman Forum and a short walk thereafter to the Colosseum. Also not far from the Spanish steps (about 15-20 minutes in another direction). The rooms were more spacious than I expected, clean, and quite comfortable. The stay was made that much better by the excellent and service and advice of the front desk employees. They gave recommendations on ways to get to certain places, good places to eat, what price to expect for a taxi to the train station or airport, and were just generally very helpful and kind. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any traveller who is looking for a 3 star hotel at a reasonable price close to the sights and transportation options. I read the other reviews when booking this hotel and can say that they were accurate in helping me know what to expect, especially as far as finding the hotel for the first time. Though the street address is Via Nationale 243, the side entrance is on Via Napoli, # 51, to be used to enter probably anytime after 6 pm. Not much of a problem though, if you know what to expect.
