Meets your basic needs

We stayed in Italy for two weeks and visited all the major cities. This hotel was on the bottom of the list of the places of where we stayed, the most expensive, and it was rare to find someone at the front desk. It was a basic room, with some snacks in a basket for breakfast. We had to walk forever to reach some of the sites, which we thought would be easily reached. I have stayed in another hotel in Rome close to the Piazza Nouvana and it was a joy. If I had to do things over again I would stay a little out of the city, stay in a nicer place for the money and use public transportation. There was nothing terrible about this place, it meets all basic needs. If you are wanting anything more I would consider a different establishment.

this place is terrific!! three friends of mine and i took a girls trip to rome and stayed here. the location is great - near the train station, walking distance to all major attractions. the staff was so helpful! they even helped us with our luggage (and with 4 girls, you know we had a lot!) they even gave us a bottle of wine to drink when we were too tired at night to go find our own. our room was spacious and had great views from the oversized windows. the rooms were quiet and clean, and even included a private balcony that overlooked one of the oldest churches in rome. the bathroom was clean and spacious, albeit the shower was tiny (as are most in europe). if you're considering a stay in rome, this is a great place for the money.
