We just returned from a stay at this hotel. It was elegant, refined and the rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful, and friendly and the breakfast was awesome. I loved the location. It was in a residential part of the city, so it was quiet, yet convenient. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

I'd read about renovations to the hotel and was concerned at the possible impact of these on our stay. I need not have worried, there was no work taking place on our visit and in fact all looked to be completed. Firstly, the reception staff were very friendly on our arrival. The booking in was carried out in just 5 Minutes. We were shown to our rooms on the 4th Floor, both were immaculately decorated and in very good condition (noticeably clean). My 20yr old son even commmented on this..... A few reviewers had mentioned that the rooms were small, this was not so with ours, both were large & airy with high ceilings and fancy chandeliers. As already commented by others, the Metro (Lepanto) is very close to the hotel. Easy walking distance to the Castel San Angelo and the Vatican (Leisurely 15 Minutes or so). The Bathroom must also be commented on.... Large, spacious & very clean. Linen and towels are changed daily and the FREE mini bar is also re-stocked daily. One negative I have to mention are the prices charged in the Bar and attractive garden area...These are expensive and I mean expensive!!! All in all a very impressive hotel, one I can wholeheartedly recommend.
