Posted: Mar 25, 2011 - Competent staff, beautiful rooms, excellent location -- the Excedra definited my expectations for five star hotels. It wasn't as personable as a small hotel (such as the Hotel Santa Catarina on the Amalfi coast) and breakfast wasn't included with my stay (surprising) but after a day of romping around in Rome it was a pleasant sanctuary..
