Room #49, Junior Suite, large, super balcony, large bath. The room is the one feature on website with Green Stipe decor. Hotel is in a great location. We never heard a sound even through it is located on a busy street. The breakfast was superb. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The room is very large. We had a double for a few hours to shower upon arrival. This room was also nice, however much smaller with a small bath. Did have a small balcony overlooking the side street.
My only complaint ,which is minor, terry robes need to be replace.
I would definitely use this hotel again. I have pics of both rooms please email if you would like to see them.
3 nights in Hotel Barocco. Barocco was a decent hotel. It is clean and the staff was helpful and breakfast was on par with everywhere else. We got a great rate on the room and it is in a great location...3-5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps and just a few more to Trevi fountain and the Pantheon. While we liked other hotels in other cities more, you can't really compare and because Rome hotels are typically overpriced compared with other cities and if you want a really nice hotel you need to spend another almost double the rate, which just isn't worth it becayse you spend so little time in your hotel while in Rome. Typically we would leave after breakfast and not return until after dinner. so while i might not stay there again because i'd pick a different area it was easy to get to and a great place to experience Rome for the first time. Thank you.

The standard double room we had was comfortable and satisfactory for our needs -- kept exceptionally clean. The breakfast buffet was excellent -- nutritious, fresh, and ample, plus a well-made cappucino and machiato for us every morning. The staff was always very helpful and friendly, but certainly not intrusive. Nearby were some excellent restaurants and wine bars. We can't recommend highly enough Il Veneto, a wine bar and restaurant just around the corner. Plus, there is an internet cafe just a block away, and the metro stop is on the corner. We'd happily return to this hotel.
