Hotel once again met all the thoughts I had and of the last trip. Breakfast was very good and enjoyed the trip and especially the location of the Emmaus Hotel.

We chose this hotel for location and it was a very nice stay. We enjoyed the proximity to the Vatican. The cleanliness and breakfast was average on the scale. The location and hospitality were well above average. Our party stayed in two rooms. The room on the interior was rather triangle shaped but adequate, the exterior room was on a busy street that became active very early. We advise requesting the interior rooms for a pleasant stay.

Hotel was so close to St Peter's Square - 3 minute walk, even though it is not visible from the Hotel. Rooms very small but adequate. Has lift. Breakfast gave better variety than other hotels in Italy. Expensive for the size of the room and no restuarant facility but very convenient for the Vatican. The staff member spoke excellent english and was very helpful.

Had a fantastic stay at the Emmaus - it's almost next door to the Vatican. We couldn't believe it! Hotel staff were courteous and helpful. Plenty of local restaurants, the last restaurant near the Vatican on the same side as the hotel had excellent food and was very reasonable. The only drawback was the noise from the plumbing / central heating system / air conditioning right outside our rooms (Nos. 102 and 107). I've since e-mailed the hotel with this feedback and had a lovely reply. With the help of some Vino, the noise didn't cause too much of a problem. I would definately recommend the hotel but ask for a room on a higher floor.

rooms are very small. poor breakfast. very quiet and near to vatican.
