0My wife and I stayed here during our honeymoon visit to Rome in May 2008. I had actually stayed here once before for one night waiting on a cruise in 2006. The staff arranged a car to pick us up from Leonardo DaVinci airport, the price was reasonable and driver was friendly and recommended a nice restaurant at the top of the Spanish Steps (Ciampinis). The hotel is very new with a friendly and helpful staff that speaks English well. The rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms. When we were there in early May the pool was closed so we didn't get to try that. There is an onsite restaurant, but we did not use that either.
The problem with this hotel is the location, the hotel is located about a 20 to 30 minute shuttle ride from the Vatican City area. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle, which when I was there the first time had two drop off points (the Vatican area, and Piazza Barberini). The last time it was only the Vatican area, which fortunately is right by a subway stop. It makes it difficult having to plan your day around the shuttle rides, and the last one back to the hotel leaves at 11 p.m. If you don't mind the shuttle, then this is a nice, comfortable hotel. If you plan on making alot of trips into the city then this might not be the best place for you.
