Having received confirmation from the booking service for three rooms for our family of four, we arrived to find only ONE room available. At 10 PM at night, we were on the streets of Rome trying to find a Hotel that had 3 rooms available.
The staff simply said there was some 'confusion' about our stay and they tried to get 3 of us to stay in a three bed room in a dirty hotel down the block.
We cancelled the following 3 days of booked reservations as we considered this non service as they made no attempt to find us a Hotel anywhere in Rome for 3 rooms.
Thank you American Express for finding us another Hotel and sneding a Taxi to rescue us after midnight on the streets of Rome.!
