Hotel Mediterraneo - Rome, Italy 

Just came back from a three night stay at the Mediterraneo... You can't get a better location, it's right across the street from the Termini station! When arriving to Rome we even walked past it because I thought it would be further down the street... It's very convinient to reach all the famous sites, no matter if you walk or go by bus or metro. The room was very nice and clean although the furniture wasn't modern, but you wouldn't expect it either considering the classic 'theme' of the hotel. The room was equipped with a minibar/fridge, tv, hair dryer, good AC (highly needed), safe and a great shower. The bed was on the hard side but that's no problem for me. The complimentary breakfast was really good with everything we needed and they even had a highest standard coffee maker so you can get a freshly brewed espresso or cappucino. There are also some nice restaurants and shops in the near vicinity. We also got a bargain price, paying only 80 euro/night for a double room. All in all, highly recommended!

We absolutely loved the hotel. The roof top restaurant was beautiful with amazing views. The rooms were clean with hardwood floors and marble. It had a full bathtub, great after walking all over Rome. We only had two days and the staff was very helpful in their advice for dining, the tips on the fastest ways to Rome attractions and general information. It was right next to the train station and easy to navigate from. The breakfast buffet was incredible.
