Blu Hotel Roma - Rome, Italy

I stayed at the Hotel Blu Roma in March 2006. The hotel is located in an acceptable part of town about 1/2 mile from a major subway terminal. You can also ride a number of buses from the terminal to the hotel. The front of the building is nothing special but the lobby is attractive. Our room was quite large and the bathroom was gigantic compared to the other hotels I've stayed at in Europe. Everything was clean and well maintained. The best part of the hotel was the hotel desk staff. In particular on of the gentlemen went out of his way to help me find some of the local attractions. His english was excellent and his attitude was wonderful. I wish some of the hotel staffs in the US would take note! My only issue with the hotel was noise. Our room was on the first floor near the elevator. With lovely tile floors throughout, we were awakened numerous times by other hotel guests coming back after "painting the town". But other than the noise, we were satisfied with hotel. We also found the best waiter and food a few blocks away at "La Boheme", but that's for another review.

The hotel was very good in general, a little out of the city centre (had to take a bus to a station, then the metro to the centre). The breakfast WAS NOT INCLUDED as supposed to in Venere's reservation.

everything ok, good place cleaned and elegant, position was not so good.. Employees..to much worried about the money...

Much nicer hotel than I expected. Was a little out of the way (about 1km walk to station), but wasn't too bad. The area is a little quiet, but felt fairly safe. Not many eating options close by, but a couple places in walking distance. Restaurant attached to the hotel is overpriced, so going elsewhere was a better option.

Consiglio questo hotel a chi si reca a Roma per lavoro, o per piacere. E' vicino alla tangenziale da cui si pu? raggiungere il centro di Roma. Nelle vcinanze vi sono ottime trattorie romane, ove si mangia bene e si spende poco.
