What Travellers Like

  • The rooms were all spacious, extremely clean, well-maintained, and beautiful - we booked 2 jr. 1 superior room for our extended family of 8 including young children. The entire staff was extremely professional, friendly, and considerate. The manager, Daniel, and the front desk staff really went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They also had wonderful suggestions for restaurants for us.. Read review

  • The service was excellent - the concierge went out of their way to ensure that we had a good experience with them. The hotel offers a shuttle to the Spanish Steps in the city center, which turned out to be something we took advantage of more than we would have imagined. Very convenient - the only drawback is that it stops running at 10pm, so if you're staying in the city later than that, you'll have to take a cab back to the hotel. The room was very clean, and well maintained. Last thing to note - definitely check your mini bar in your room to make sure that everything is OK.. Read review

  • The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and will go to no end to assist you. The location may appear to be a bit off the beaten track - but its close enough to get a wonderful walk through the Villa Borghese, a wonderful oasis. The courtesy bus is efficient and we didn't have a problem walking or taxi-ing back. The rooms are a good size, very clean and peaceful - and the bath rooms are wonderful - a huge bath to soak the aching bones after walking through this wonderful city - we will recommend the Duke to all our friends - an added bonus to all rugby fans - many of 6 nation teams stay here when playing against Italy.. • Excellent room, great Hotel and above all this ( which could be enough to appreciate it ), wonderful Staff and Management : fun to have a Rossana candy and a red apple at the Reception Desk! Terranova and his great Staff took care of us in each moment of our stay, hard to succeed if you consider it was almost fully booked for Eastern Holidays. Large and quite comfortable room, perfect bed where to sleep and dream and clean- like- a -mirror bathroom, too. Very good breakfast with high level service and nice to have a drink at the Polo Lounge with piano music player. The Hotel is located in the Parioli area, not downtown but quiet and smart , probably the best part of Rome. No problem to get downtown because you find a free Shuttle-Bus Service from the Duke to Piazza di Spagna and back all day long available.. Read review

  • Rooms were elegant, food (breakfast) was great, and the front desk staff were among the finest. Yes, one must plan to get back and forth from the hotel, but the cost is very much worth it.. Read review
