3.5While Bettoja Atlantico has some pluses it definitely does not deserve or come close to a 4 star rating, even by European standards. The rooms are clean and large, but nothing about this property is luxurious. Moreover, while the front desk staff (there is no concierge) will answer your questions, they offer little more. One exception was the night manager, who was very friendly and helpful. The Bettoja Atlantico is connected to another Bettoja hotel via a stairway, which is where breakfast is served and the dining room and roof top lounge are housed. Lastly, the buffet at a Comfort Inn in the U.S. is better than this full, European buffet breakfast. On the plus side, the hotel is well located given its 2 block walk to the Termini station, a large bus depot and 5 mile walk to the Coliseum. The neighborhood is safe, which makes you comfortable walking either day or night, and offers a few shops and restaurants. If you want a true 4 star hotel, definitely look elsewhere. I stayed at 2 different 4 star hotels in Germany last March and they were far, far superior to the Bettoja Atlantico. In summary, it was a good experience, but I would never stay there again nor recommend it to anyone I know, especially if they want a 4 star hotel experience.
Close proximity to the train station and large bus depot. Larger than average rooms that were very clean.
There is nothing luxurious about this hotel. It is old and rather out dated, with no services on site.
