Hotel which my teenage daughter adored for it's "kitchness" rooms were clean and plenty of hot water which is a blessing after a hard day on your feet walking! There is a bus that stops outside and takes you to Vatican City which we found reliable! I suppose it depends on the time of year you go. There are also some really decent cheap resturants nearby which serve some really good filling food if you don't want to go back into the centre of town for an evening. I can't thank the hotel staff enough. They were so helpful teliing you the best way to get around where to go what to see, what buses go where. All without asking and also gave me the best map I had (considering I managed to pick up a few).

very poor quality of rooms, need a huge renovation. Bathroom in really bad shape. Sad place to stay, at a price not so cheap after all.

Not that great a place

We've just returned from a great long weekend in Rome. The weather, food and vino were great but sadly The Raganelli Hotel failed to deliver. Our room was very basic and faced the main road so we could hear traffic throughout the evening. The room was an average size but painted bright pink and the bathroom was fine. The hotel is located very far away from the centre and you're dependant on getting a bus to the Metro and then a train. Trains stop at 10:30 so a taxi is needed in the evenings which around ?15-20. Apart from the distance and need of redecorating the staff at the Raganelli were great and very helpful.
