Hotel Galles - Rome, Italy 

"Good hotel, great stay"

I stayed at the Galles for a week and had a marvelous time. I had a single room off of the lobby and it was a little small but I just needed it to sleep and take a shower. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The room was a bit used, but was well cleaned everyday. The breakfast selection was a little less than I expected, but was filling and made for a good start to the day. The location was only a few blocks from the train station, which made it easy to get around. I had a great time and would not hesitate to recommend it to others or to stay there again myself.

My room was on the top floor and just above my room there was a noisy airconditioning unit.

nice hotel, but hated the useless stairs in the way to my room...

We enjoyed a nice 4 day staying in Hotel Galles during August 2008. Although things did not start in the proper way cause we wewe moved to a near hotel (luckily, it was a better hotel) because air conditioning was not working, the hotel was nice in general, quiet and less than a kilometer from Termini station. Breakfast was reasonable, maybe juices and coffee would need an improvement, as well as the horrible and antique lift.

They operate a couple properties, and we got placed in a building other than the main one, which would've been nice to know ahead of time. However, it was equally nice and overall a pleasant stay.
