Mi è piaciuta molto la terrazza panoramica con vista sulla chiesa di Santa Maria Maggiore.
L'hotel non è provvisto di spa né di piscina, contrariamente a quanto indicato sul sito.

Bed linen and towels were changed every day. Breakfast up on the roof garden, with panoramic views of Rome, was fabulous. Excellent breafast buffet, with availability of bacon and eggs if wanted. Jaccuzi bath and power shower were much appreciated, at the beginning or end of hot sunny days discovering Rome's many treasures.
Satellite TV channels didn't work, so only able to view BBC or CNN news channels. Only one lift, so had to wait for ages on occassion to get up to the roof garden for breakfast. Written instuction advising hotel guests that they must not put any of their own food or drink in the mini bar fridge, WHY?

Great location for seeing all the sights, the roof top terrace for breakfast & evening drinks made our stay special and as far as the reception staff was concerned Carlo was by far the most courteous. The rooms were spotless and hot food was available for purchase off of the menu.

The Mecenate fully reflects the uniqueness of a wonderful city, just a lovely place and staff friendly and helpful. Additionally very comfortable room, nice bar etc and the breakfast was also good.

I cannot say enough good things about the Mecenate Palace - great location and the hotel is just 3 blocks from the termini. Private entrance next door to the main reception desk and the bathrooms are nice. A pot of delicious coffee.
