We stayed 3N at the Grifo in a really nice room with en-suite bathroom (they aren't all en-suite, be careful when you book if this is important to you).
Our room was in a seperate apartment building just a few steps across the street, on the second floor (no lift). Very quiet, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and well appointed.
We were very pleased with the room, but the best features of the Grifo are the staff, who were all helpful, friendly and polite - and the location.
Good choice of local places to eat/drink and easy walk to the Cavour metro station and bus stops in Via Nacional. Don't walk from the Termini - it's easier by metro.

Stayed here for 4 nights. Good location, clean and easy walk to the metro and Coliseum though we left a passport at the front desk and it “went missing.” There was something strange about the attitude when we suggested that it couldn't have just been "lost." Who knows. Don't think we'd stay there ever again.
