Okay
"Fantastic hotel."

This hotel was fantastic. I had read reviews on 20 other hotels and finally decided on the Savoy. The room was large enough to accommodate two adults and a 5 and 7 year old. The bathroom was new and modern and on the recommendation of a few of the reviews I had read on this hotel, we stayed in a room facing the courtyard. The rooftop bar area is beautiful with a wonderful view of the city. The staff were very kind and friendly and the breakfast is fantastic....a full buffet breakfast is offered. I can't wait to go back to Rome and I will definitely be staying at the Savoy on our next trip. It is close enough to all the sights...We walked everywhere with our kids....and once you work out the shortcut to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain - you are on your way!

Hi.<br>Our best convention was in Athens. Excellent business hotels with all meetings facilities, exlusive services, and historical side of Athens. Find on facebook the page of Athens convention bureau, become a fan and then u will have all and fresh informations without spending long time looking for them. It was helpfull for us when we were planning our convention there.

me and my boyfriend stayed at the savoy hotel inrome in June for my 18th birthday and we both had the most fantastic time. the hotel staff looked after you the moment you wlked in and caried your cases to your room and made sure everything was ok before leaving you to your own devices. breakfast was really good and we had our last evening meal there in the roof top terrace and it was gorgeous - the best meal i have had for ages - no word of a lie. the rooms were kept immaculate and the beds were really comfy - NO BED BUGS AT ALL - the rooms were a decent size - not too big not too small and the air conditioning was heaven. the hotel was very handy for seeing all the sights and getting to the metroand checking out the restaurants and bars . could not fault one thing with this hotel and would recommend it one hundred percent to anybody stopping in rome.

Not a great choice for American travelers....
Posted: Sat, Jul 12 2008
No frills here, and the staff was fairly ambivalent. It felt like an imposition every time we asked for assistance! There was one helpful front desk attendant - Titziana, but the rest were not. This was a very basic place to hang your hat and sleep at night. The beds were quite hard. The rooms, small. Bathroom, also small. It's not something you would like if you are accustomed to travel in the US. If you are considering going to Rome in the summer, think again. It was uncomfortably hot and the natives are rude. The line to get into mass with the Pope was a horrific nightmare.
