Not a great choice for American travelers....Posted: Sat, Jul 12 2008No frills here, and the staff was fairly ambivalent. It felt like an imposition every time we asked for assistance! There was one helpful front desk attendant - Titziana, but the rest were not. This was a very basic place to hang your hat and sleep at night. The beds were quite hard. The rooms, small. Bathroom, also small. It's not something you would like if you are accustomed to travel in the US. If you are considering going to Rome in the summer, think again. It was uncomfortably hot and the natives are rude. The line to get into mass with the Pope was a horrific nightmare.
