"Perfect for our purposes"

I took my Mum to Rome for her 60th birthday and since neither of us had been there before it was tricky to know where to stay. The International Palace turned out to be perfect- Rome is a small city anyway but everything is walkable from here. On our second day we left half an hour to walk to the Colosseum and were twenty minute early. When they say 500m to something they mean it. The hotel is far from fancy but it has everything you need and the staff are friendly and helpful. We didn't eat in the restaurant apart from breakfast which was ok but not great (very weird juice and coffee machines which are a bit of a travesty in a country which has some of the best coffee in the world!). For an affordable (through Expedia) central base it is perfect. Lovely deep baths to ease those exhausted over walked bodies too. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Another tip- we saw the Roman Forum & Colosseum and the Vatican with Angel Tours and they were excellent.

Excellent hotel, very nice and clean. Great location. My room ( basic room) was very tiny but contemporary decoration. I loved it!!!

You can simply walk to everywhere, but if you don't like to walk, only 3 min. walk to metro station, or take the buses that stops just in front of the hotel, and you can reach anywhere you want.

We loved our stay here, great quality at a great price. If you come into the train station, the hotel is about one half mile walk which is okay if your luggage has wheels. We had breakfast a couple of blocks away, towards Republique, on a side street, it was great, and affordable.
