Palacio De Los Salcedo details: The hotel is housed in a Renaissance-Gothic building from the 16th century, and is one of the town´s most important and emblematic buildings, that was originally the Count and Countess' (Salcedos´) palace. The Vandelvira restaurant run by the hotel, is situated in the centre of the historical centre of Baeza and is located in the cloisters of the San Francisco convent, built by Andres Valencia de Benavides. The original structure of this architectural gem has been preserved except for the Chapel that was destroyed by an earthquake at the beginning of the 19th century.
