BEAUMONT Maastricht address: Wycker Brugstraat 2, Maastricht, 6221 EC

BEAUMONT Maastricht details: All the magical elements of Maastricht are within a stone's throw of the Beaumont, situated in the heart of the city. Its centraal location puts it within walking distance of the old city and the station, as well as the Céramique district with its modern architecture, where the cream of Europe's architects have left their mark with dozens of striking buildings.

Looking for a hotel is one thing; finding the right hotel is quite another, particularly in Maastricht, a city with a reputation for 'the good life' to uphold.
There are hotels in all shapes and sizes in Maastricht, yet there are few that really stand out. The Beaumont is one of these few.
Quality is not an issue, as this is self-evident at the Beaumont. Quality is a precondition, and has been for over ninety years. The Beaumont has always maintained the principle of innovation as a guideline for the future; innovation as a part of its tradition.
The Beaumont is not a hotel just for an overnight stay, not is its restaurant simply a place to dine. The Beaumont is a complete experience; a total concept.

Overnight stays are one thing, but a night at the Beaumont is something else entirely. The Beaumont offers more than just accommodation for a weekend in Maastricht or a business visit. At the rooms you will find a mix of styles from standard to modern, as well in the hotel as in the residence.

The Beaumont has made a significant contribution to Maastricht's current reputation as a city to go out in. With the distinguished beauty of the interior decor and the rooms, as well as the broad culinary palette, there is something for everyone, from dinner to breakfast, and from a weekend to a longer stay. The Beaumont is something to be experienced.
The Beaumont's kitchens enjoy a good reputation among connoisseurs.
Food is one thing, taste is another.
After all, 'the good life' is strict about quality. There is a good reason why Maastricht restaurants are among the finest in the Netherlands. The standard is high, but the threshold is low.
Good wine needs no bush, as Shakespeare put it, which is why the Beaumont has chosen to present itself without too many architectural frills and trimmings. The purest kind of simplicity. The Beaumont leaves space for the personal experience, and has chosen distinguished modesty. The result is beauty that wants to be discovered yet does not impose itself.

Wyck
The best-kep secret of all lies right at the feet of the Beaumont. Wyck, the city quarter of art and architecture, offering antiquarian bookshops and boutiques. The architectural district of Céramique, featuring Jo Coenen's famous Centre Céramique, is close by. Wyck is situated on the dividing line between old and new. Old flair and crisp modernity go hand in hand. From this district, one can take either the 13th century St. Servatius Bridge (situated next to the site of the old Roman bridge) or the brand-new, modern 'High bridge' over the river Meuse to reach the old heart of the city.

Dining

An experience;
Chef Rick Barteklink has opted for a menu with a mix of culinary styles and a contemporary interpretation of typical Alsatian and Limburg dishes. Bartelink and the host, Jean-Philippe Roussel, take care of the culinairy side of the Beaumont experience. The Beaumont hotel has been affiliated to the Maastricht Culinair organization since 2003 (a cooperative of top restaurants in Maastricht).

Certain choices have been made in order to satisfy the wishes of today's gourmet even better: new-style dishes like Seafood Only; Alsace Style, in keeping with the Beaumont traditions, namely a great partiality for Alsatian cuisine; and the culinary value of Limburg cuisine is not forgotten either- Limburg Style.

The restaurant is open daily for lunch from 11.00 to 17.00 (not on Sunday) and for dinner from 18.00 to 22.00.

Beautifull hotel, modern but not in a cold way, warm atmosphere with dark wooden floors, and white walls everywhere. Creating a very calm space. Lovely healthy breakfast, helpfull friendly staff. Perfect location, close to railwaystation, Maas and citycentre. We stayed two nights longer than planned. Says it all.

I always try to stay at the Beaumont when I visit Maastricht, because it has everything I want: it is very well sited, close to the station and the old city, has very nice rooms and a very good restaurant. I prefer to stay in the main hotel rather than the apatrment block across the street, where there is no elevator.
