The absolute worst place i have ever stayed at.
Firstly the rooms stink mainly of smoke, the bathroom were dirty and the fittings were loose, the service at reception was terrible staff were not friendly nor helpful and lastly the worst of all was bed bugs yes bed bugs !
I understand that you get what you pay for but i would at least expect the room to be clean.

Check in / front desk
6.0
We stayed two nights at the Concorde Inn, both sides of a long-weekend trip to Indonesia. The hotel is cheap and one of the few airport hotels at KL airport. We stayed at the upmarket Pan Pacific before, but the Concorde is about 1/3 of the price, so we thought it was worth trying.
The hotel consists of rows of buildings that resemble army barracks with corrugated iron roofs. The covered, open corridors, are tiled and, although dated, well maintained. The garden was very well looked after and gave a very nice impression.
Check in was relatively efficient and not unfriendly.
The first night we had a standard room in barrack 7. Although the hotel and rooms are kept clean it is in desperate need of some modernization and replacement of old and faded equipment and furniture. The room was indeed clean and large and the bed was good, but it was very empty and lacking any luxury. The bathroom had a shower and an old washbasin, but it was clean and everything worked.
We arrived late, just before midnight, and wanted to go to sleep immediately. However, then it became apparent that there was a lot of noise. Actually, an incredible amount of noise. The tiled corridor was probably made before the time that suitcases had little wheels. Now it created an echoing noise of “tadak tadak tadak tadak ………..” when the suitcases were rolled through it. And there were a lot of people arriving after us. It is an airport hotel, so there was the regular “roaaaar” of the planes – no double glazing or sound insulation at all. In the room there was an old AC that gave a loud, regular background noise, but occasionally interrupted by severe rattling when it needed to produce some cool air. On the wall was one of those large round clocks, like in railway stations. The unfortunate thing is that the clock clearly and loudly indicated every second, resulting in a loud “tic tic tic tic tic ………….”. Other people clearly also had some problems falling asleep, resulting in loud conversations in the corridor – even playing children running around, shouting. Note that it was by now well after midnight.
So there I was – lying in bed, desperately trying to sleep, but listening to all this incredible noise.
Breakfast was good with a lot of variety and nice local dishes and fresh fruit.
Note that the hotel has a regular complimentary bus service to and from KLIA. But not to LCCT. Taxis are, however, available (from LCCT to hotel MYR 32 and from the hotel MYR 35). They recently started an hourly bus service to LCCT in the early morning for MYR 15 pp + 5 per suitcase.
After the weekend in Indonesia we had a luxury room booked. The room had the same size as the standard room, but now had a sofa and wall to wall carpet. And a larger and better shower. We could not get the AC to work, but the bellboy managed very quickly to get it to start up. With a deafening rumble it came to life. The bellboy apologized and said it was antique from the 80-ies. Our hopes for less noise were therefore immediately out of the window. To my horror I spotted the same damn clock on the wall. I decided not to wait until it would drive me crazy again, but could not get it off the wall. Probably afraid somebody was going to steal it. So again we were lying in the nice bed listening to the “tadak tadak tadak ….” of the suitcases, the “tic tic tic tic …….” of the clock and the “roaaaaaar” of the planes. But this time it was all overpowered by the deafening rumble of the AC.
After a nice shower and a good breakfast we were delivered to the LCCT by a taxi driver who thought he was Michael Shumacher.
Overall an experience not to be replicated.
