"Great location"Posted: Mon, Nov 23 2009Value:
3This hotel is located quite close to the Trevi Fountain, which means that it is in a fantastic location for dining out, shopping and site seeing. It is about a 10 minute walk with luggage, to this hotel and it is all down hill. But unfortunately all up hill when you're leaving, making it a bit longer.
The rooms are very nice, consisting of a double bed for couples, a television, safe and air conditioning that works very well even in the extreme heat. The rooms are quite spacious too.
Our room was tidied every day and the reception staff are more than happy to help you. They speak english quite well.
The breakfast is average, consisting of croissants, bread rolls, cheese etc. Be warned that you must get to breakfast early because the food is gone very quickly and only the basics get replenished. The juice was undrinkable for me.
Whilst the rooms are lovely, the hotel is undergoing renovations and has the world's smallest elevator. Only one person with luggage can fit into it, so you can be standing there for 10 minutes at a time waiting for the lift as it picks up one person at a time from each level.
Other than the elevator, i would recommend this hotel for its location, and lovely rooms.
