Casa Howard (Sistina) - Rome, Italy 

Loved the Blue Room at Casa Howard!

We stayed at the Capo le Case property in the blue room for four nights in April. I LOVED this property, we had a huge room by Rome standards, which we were very surprised by. While our bathroom was down the hall, this did not bother us at all, and we are very picky about where we stay. Yes, the shower is small, but has an excellent rain shower head. Christine, who runs to guesthouse, was so helpful, and gave us the names of many excellent places to have a meal and helped us with directions many times. It seemed like we were staying in a friends apartment in Rome, and I loved that feeling. There is no common area, as one person complained about, but who wants to sit in a common area of a hotel while you are staying in Rome?? Get out and see the city! The guesthouse is less than a 5 minute walk from the Spanish Steps and a 10 minute walk to the Trevi Fountain. I could not have asked for more during our stay, we were so pleased with our decision to stay there and will recommend it to any friends going to Rome.
