TripTake Traveler Reviews
Well I am going to write a small review about this hotel. (sorry if my english is not at a good level).
First of all this hotel is NOT a 4 star hotel it is not more than a 3 star hotel.
Advantages: it is near the historical center (only 10 minutes away from Colosseum). It is just a breath from Metro station (station Manzoni) and it is very easy to go everywhere (in places which has metro). Inside the hotel the breakfast was realy good. Generally the hotel is at the perfect place.
Disadvantages: The staff was realy rude espesially the reseptionist. The rooms was not clean enough and the beds were making a lot of noise when seated. We stayed at the highest floor (7 floor) at the noice was enough!!!??? The hotel has only one elevator and it was always busy. Generaly it is a very old hotel which reminds me an 80's hotel (it needs renewal). For conclusion i will not recommend this to anyone who want to give more than 60 - 65 euros a day. It is in a good place but nothing more!
We joined Globus for a 15 day Italy-Greece tour. Hotel President was the first hotel we stayed which was a bad beginning of the tour. The location of the hotel was convenient, but everything else was lousy. Rooms were terribly noisy and staff was rude. The source of their business was obviousely from tour companies. They don't care about how their guests feel.
