- High ceilings w/ indirect lighting in cathedral style soffet, luxurious draperies and wallpaper, soundproof, curved entry door, 3 phones, sofa, tasteful furniture. The staff was superb from bell boy to waiter, no glitches, superb service and establishment. A/C and heating worked, as I later realized all other hotels I stayed in had no A/C or heater.. - This beautiful hotel with all the amenities offered a quiet room with a garden view. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, especially the concierge Ivan Crisante. Crisante in a desperate attempt to determine the name and phone number of a particular antique business that we had purchased goods from, he remembered this business and supplied name, address, and phone number immediately. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel and its superb concierge, Mr. Super Service at the Hotel Splendide Royal.. Read review

- The location of the hotel is fantastic--just a 5 minute walk to the Spanish Steps. The front desk/concerierge service was extremely helpful--he acquired tickets to the Borghese Gallery (don't miss) which were virtually sold out for the weekend. Inside the hotel one feels as if they are in a exclusive villa with beautiful furniture and furnishings.. Read review

The staff were nice enough on arrival but it took a long time for our room to be ready and even longer for the porter to bring our bags. I eventually found a room at this beautiful hotel for $170 USD. One night we had drinks on the terrace at the top of the hotel, and they provided us with complimentary chocolates and tiny desserts (I don't remember what they were but I remember they were good). Near the Via Veneto, this hotel overlooked a green park (Villa Borghese) so the view from the window was nice.
