- This was our first trip to Italy and found the staff at the hotel very helpful. The Concierge was very helpful and went beyond the call of duty to help us with tours and train tickets. He actualy went to the train station himself to get a resv. The staff was very courteous and service was excellent.. Read review

Posted: Jun 22, 2006 - This beautiful hotel with all the amenities offered a quiet room with a garden view. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful, especially the concierge Ivan Crisante. Crisante in a desperate attempt to determine the name and phone number of a particular antique business that we had purchased goods from, he remembered this business and supplied name, address, and phone number immediately. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel and its superb concierge, Mr. Super Service at the Hotel Splendide Royal.. Read review

- member - The interior of the hotel is beautifully decorated. The staff bent over backwards to accomadate our every need. We had originally booked a Junior Suite but were upgraded to a Suite, which was gorgeous. We had a terrace overlooking the Gardens, and the terrace wrapped around the entire suite. Room was beautiful appointed with the most modern facilities. As far as location goes, I thought it was perfect. Breakfast was equally as good, it was the best eggs that were served through our whole trip through Italy.. Read review

1The staff were nice enough on arrival but it took a long time for our room to be ready and even longer for the porter to bring our bags. The room itself overlooked a bin area and we were not given a bottle of prosecco or anything special on account of this being our honeymoon despite the fact other travellers......

Bottled still and sparkling water and champagne were also plentiful. The best aspect of the hotel is the service. They recommended a number of excellent restaurants......

4The bathrooms are large and have all that you could need and it all works well. It took a while to figure out the unusual lighting system which involves inserting a room card in a slot when you enter to turn the lights on.
