BW Hotel Universo - Rome, Italy 

A party of 15 of us stayed in the hotel for a long weekend in Sept 07. Overalll we had an excellent time. The city was great and we were very impressed with the hotel. To be honest I had read a few bad reviews of the hotel before the trip but am happy to say that I had no need to worry as the hotel was excellent. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was great. A very successful stress free holiday for all concerned.

We had read mixed reviews about this hotel. we stayed 4 nights. our general comments are: Overall, it was ok but did not stack up to other accommodation on our trip through France, Italy and Greece. * the rooms were refurbished, however some aspects were poorly done - though were spacious enough, large beds and new tvs etc * no outlook from our room * noisy from window and hallway * breakfast was below average - poor quality and no variety. not fresh * though centrally located to the main terminal, it was not within walking distance to any of the main attractions and we felt unsafe at times (we were travelling with infant) * rude service - from reception to concierge to breakfast staff Overall, it seemed like a decent business hotel however we would not return.
