Rose Garden Palace details:
Housed in an early-19th century building in one of the most exclusive areas of via Veneto, a new and supremely elegant hotel has opened its doors, the Rose Garden Palace, which takes its name from the delightful rose garden on its grounds. The tall pine trees of Villa Borghese, the Spanish Steps, the stylish shops on via Condotti, the fashionable bars of via Veneto, the Tritone and Mosè fountains, the baroque churches, and the masterpieces on display in the Borghese Gallery, are all within easy walking distance from the property. For those guests who love outdoor activities we can suggest several biking itineraries in the nearby Villa Borghese, by the fountains, the lake, and the numerous works of art. The hotel staff will be pleased to organise guided tours, visits to artists' studios, take care of bookings for sport and cultural events, give informations regarding the entertainment events held in the city, concerts, art exhibitions, religious ceremonies, as well as transfers to and from the airport, the port of Civitavecchia or the railway station.

I stayed at Rose Garden Oct 22-24 2007. I am a travel agent and have sent many clients. I wanted to experience for myself. I brought two other couples. We all loved the hotel.
The location is perfect. Just across from the American Embassy. We all had different room types. They were all lovely and spacious. We found the breakfast experience very intimate with a delicious array of cold and hot foods and wonderful coffee. They have a small health club and large elegant hot tub area. The front desk staff was very pleasant and accomodating.
I can see why I have 100% success when I send my clients. The price is very reasonable by Rome standards. I will stay there any time I visit Rome.

I really liked the Rose Garden Palace. It is convenient to many of the things a person would want to see in Rome. The lobby was very nice, including the breakfast area. My breakfast was included in the price, and i enjoyed it each day.
In terms of the room, mine was smaller and had only a view of a courtyard. Also the bed was two twins pushed together (and they were hard), but after a long day this didn't bother me much. The bathrooms were excellent though - especially for Europe! It had a wonderful tub and shower, plenty of space, and nice marble floors.
The staff were friendly and willing to resolve any problems or issues.
