This is the third year that my sister and I have stayed in this property. Each summer the service and hotel have decreased in level. This year was the worst so far. We booked a stay partially revenue and partially using points through the Starwood web site and with a call from NY to the hotel. First we were roomed in a smoking room even though my reservation and history indicates I want a non-smoking room. The bathroom was infested with ants and there was no exterminator available to rectify the problem. Last year I asked to speak to the manager of the hotel and was informed that the manager does not speak with guests. I asked again this year and Mrs. Laura Fanecco has failed to call or see me for five days. I booked internet service through the exclusive ISP Swisscom. I paid and did NOT receive service. I tried to call Swisscom even though I know their horrible reputation and was told that they had my money and they NEVER make a refund for any reason. The manager on duty has tries to contact Swisscom with the same result. I am out the money and no one seems to care. After reporting the bugs I was told that I could change rooms. I would be given a suite with two beds that were sized for Barbie and Ken not me and my sister. The beds are half the size of those in my first room. I am too tall for the beds so I have slept on the floor. The first room also was never cleaned there were huge rust stains in the shower. A previous guest must have had bowel control problems because the stains on the chair cover had the brown stains that provided me with the information to identify the problem. The manager on duty came with another staff member to verify the lack of internet service and saw the stains on the chair. I am a Platinum Preferred Guest Member and am entitled to certain amenities from Starwood hotels. A daily newspaper, a welcome note from the management and several others. None have been delivered! When checking in I was asked to sign vouchers for breakfast on everyday I was booked into the hotel. They have held a substantial amount of money on our credit card but still needed this double payment. We tried breakfast one day and were informed that pineapple, fried eggs, etc. were extras and by my calculation breakfast that I would normally eat on a breakfast buffet would cost in excess of 100 Euros. In addition the service at the breakfast was abhorent. Dirty plates were not cleared and normal utensils delivered with the speed of a pregnant tortoise. We are still in the suite waiting for the shower to be repaired and the door lock to function properly. What an experience!

My husband and I will never come to this hotel again. Our room was tiny and our bathroom smelled. The front desk staff was not always helpful. They were polite most of the time but gave us bad directions numerous times. It seemed like they just did not care.On one occasion, we asked the girl at the front desk for directions to central rimini. We told her we want to go today(it was a sunday) and we asked if there were stores and restaurants there. She told us there were plenty. When we got there after a 40 minute walk, we realized that mostly everything was closed because it was sunday. She should have told us to choose another day to go there so that we dont waste our time.I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.
