Goldener Bar - Vienna, Austria 

When I read two review I thought this hotel has small rooms but clean and comfortable. But it is just a dream. The hotel is well located. Easily reachable with tram D, subway U2 and U4. The room was very small. The blankets and the pillows were dirty. The towels were not arranged (like somebody has just used before I check in). I didn't have time to check if the TV worked properly and also because I didn't want to touch it. The breakfast is so simple. Not good for a 3 star hotel. There's also a smell of cigarette in the corridor where my room is located. This hotel does not deserve the 3 star and strongly NOT recommended.

The rooms were clean, but small. We stayed there on two seperate occasions and got the first room on the right and then to the left of the recpetion area, which had a heavy cigarette smell from the smoking area close by. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very well located with tram D connecting to the south train station via the ring. There is also a supermarket on the same block.
