Comfort Inn Victoria - London, United Kingdom 

This is a great value location. My sister and I went to London in Dec. of 07 and stayed here. It's just a few blocks down from the Victoria train station (you can take the Heathrow express right to Victoria). However, be warned, it's a little confusing coming out of the train station. We e-mailed the hotel ahead of time and got some pretty good directions. The room was adequate sized (though remember that ALL hotel rooms in Europe are small), clean and the shower had good temp control and water pressure. There was an elevator, but it would be difficult to navigate if you have significant disabilities. There are several very good places to eat around the corner from the hotel. There is a great Indian restaurant and pub just a couple of blocks away- the front desk can recommend some places. As two women travelling alone, we felt very safe in this area.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn for one night while in London for work. The hotel was in a very convenient location and was clean and comfortable. I got a good deal through their website (?89 including continental breakfast). However, if you are a light sleeper make sure you take ear plugs (I always travel with them!) as my room was at the front of the hotel and there was a great deal of traffic and street noise which was very audible due to the windows only being single glazed.
