Sunshine Club Hotel Centro Benessere details: The Hotel, recently built, it is equipped with all comforts and a Beauty Farm. It is placed in one of the most enchanting places along the Capo Vaticano coast in a quiet area a few steps from the sea and not far from the village centre Ricardi. All rooms are comfortable and elegantly furnished.

Club membership is available for an additional cost (compulsory from 14 June to 13 September 2008). This includes use of a parasol and 2 deck chairs on the beach (next to Scoglio della Galea), as well as access to tennis courts, 5-a-side pitch, exercise classes, low impact aerobics sessions and the Piano Bar. Also included is the Sunshine Kinder Club (available from 14 June to 13 September 2008), for children aged from 4 to 10, which provides recreational activities and assistance at fixed times with games and snacks.

The following services and activities are included with the membership card at the Scoglio della Galea Village: beach volleyball, canoeing, wind-surfing, pedalos, beach services, day and evening live entertainment (from 14 June to 13 September), aerobic and dance classes, disco, sports tournaments and theatre shows.

I recently visited Tropea in Calabria and stayed at the Sunshine Club Hotel in Ricadi. Although Ricadi is about 20 minutes from Tropea staying at this magnificent Hotel did not cause any problems. We flew from Rome to Lamezia Airport which is classed as an International Airport, and the Hotel organised transfers from the airport to Ricadi. The Hotel has a beautiful view from all angles, the ocean view is superb and the sunrise and sunsets are one that you would never forget. This Hotel is one that you do not want to leave, the Hotel itself is beautifully maintained, has a superb pool and outdoor area, and a Health & Fitness centre. The rooms are equally lovely especially if you have an ocean view, beautifully appointed and with all the facilities that one could need, including a safe in the room. The staff also provided me with an iron for the duration of our stay. The dining room is faultless, has a magnificent buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner. Hotel staff were always cheerful, helpful and were always happy to organise transport into Tropea. The foyer has a bar which you can obtain coffee or drinks from and they will happily provide outdoor/pool service. Most staff speak English and some German. For the excellent price, I would recommend this Hotel to any traveller, and would most certainly stay there if ever to revisit the area. This Hotel made our stay a pleasure.
