Hotel Bisanzio - Ravenna, Italy 

The Best Western hotel Bisanzio is definetly the best hotel we found during our trip in Emilia Romagnia. Personnel very helpful and the location excellent to visit Ravenna spending only one night. Closeby there are cheap and good restaurants in which you can eat the local traditional food: don't miss the piadina (local traditional sort of special bread to eat with cold cuts). The mosaics of Ravenna are simply wonderful and our stay at the hotel Bisanzio unforgettable. We hope to come to Ravenna again next year.

This hotel is well located for seeing the wonderful mosaics, however, it is a fairly long walk from the train station and there is no convenient public transportation to where the hotel’s downtown location. We had a large and comfortable room on the top floor (#411). The furnishings of our room were well maintained and breakfast was good. There was internet access in the lobby at a fair cost. We were satisfied, but not thrilled. We did, however, at nearby Ristorante la Gardela, enjoy a good meal at a reasonable price.
