Loule Jardim Hotel - Loule, Portugal     

We booked this hotel for 4 nights for the end of our holiday after reading about it on Trip Advisor. We wanted somewhere fairly central, inland but convenient for the coast. We got a good price from a hotel booking website, but the price was the same as booking direct with the hotel. Loule is a lovely little town with a few good value restaurants serving authentic food - there is even a pizza place!! The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was big and light with a very large bathroom and a great power shower. There is nothing worse than a dribbling shower!! The breakfast is fine and served till 10am. There is free parking outside the hotel, but you may have to drive around for a while to find a space - especially on a Saturday when the market is on! There is an underground parking lot, but we never used it. The pool is smallish but more than adequate. I would definately recommend paying a few euros more for a room with a terrace. They are on the top floor so give a great view right back to the coast, and the terrace gets the sun all day. We paid 64 euros a night for our room which was great VFM Friendly staff too.
