My Hotels Arte - Parma, Italy 

Questo è un hotel semplice, ma con tutti servizi che ti aspetteresti da uno di buona qualità e dal prezzo contenuto. È perfetto se dovete fermarvi per una notte e non volete spendere molto. La registrazione è stata effettuata in modo molto professionale e il responsabile di turno parlava un ottimo inglese. Non ci sono stati problemi quando abbiamo chiesto che ci dessero un’altra stanza dopo aver deciso che non volevamo stare in una che guardasse su un corridoio al primo piano. Il bagno non era male; la doccia era potente e non troppo piccola. La camera aveva un letto, la TV, il minibar, una piccola cassaforte e un armadio. Non aspettatevi una camera con vista a meno che non vi piaccia un ambiente vagamente industriale. La colazione era buona senza essere niente di speciale; assicuratevi di non arrivare in ritardo perché i membri del personale tendono a mettere via tutto molto rapidamente. L’albergo si trova appena fuori dalla città vera e propria, è a due passi dalla stazione (davvero comodo) e a buoni venti minuti a piedi dal centro, il quale è pieno di vita lungo alcune strade e un vero mortorio in altre. È possibile raggiungere a piedi molti ottimi ristoranti se siete disposti a camminare a passo spedito per una mezzora. Il parcheggio gratuito è certamente un lato positivo, ma la cosa più bella di quest’albergo è rappresentata dal costo: il rapporto qualità/prezzo è veramente ottimo.

This is a basic hotel with all the features you would expect from good quality, budget accomodation. Perfect for a one night stopover at a good price. Check in was very professional and the duty manager spoke good English. There were no problems moving us to another room when we decided we didn't want the one which fronted a first floor passageway. The bathroom was ok - a strong shower and not too small. The room provides bed, TV, minibar, small safe and wardrobe. Don't expect a view unless you like light industrial. Breakfast was good without being memorable and you wouldn't want to arrive in the breakfast room too late as the staff start packing things away fairly quickly. The hotel is located just outside of the main part of the city of Parma and is a short walk to the stazione (very convenient) and a solid 20 minute walk to the centre of town - which was buzzing in some streets and dead in others (Thursday night). You can walk to a good range of restaurants if you are prepared for a 30 minute brisk stroll. Free parking is definite advantage but the best feature of this hotel is the price - good value.
