good rate price/quality. located 3 minutes from central station/circumvesuviana railway and from the beginning of corso umberto I. 10% off if you eat at the iris restaurant (same property, ground floor, regional meals/pizzas, very good). a bit of noise because rooms are in front of garibaldi square, at the 1st floor. definitively a good choice if you want to tour naples, but not if you have some difficult in falling asleep.

A stench from bath room make room full of bad smell. Be aware to your throat during a sleep. Reception is ok, and you can enjoy a lunch or dinner at ristaurante Iris by 10% off.

Nice and helpfull staff, only the staffmember in the breakfast room could show some more interest in his work.

The room was nice and clean. The bathroom was quite large for Italy. It was a no smoking hotel, but I woke up in middle of night because of the smell of cigarette smoke filling my room. I had to open all the windows to get some fresh air and I can only guess it drifted up from the front desk where they were smoking when I passed by. Major construction in front of hotel so make sure your room is not over the main street in front. My room was pretty quiet, #28. Didn't speak much English at front desk, so brush up on your Italian. Forgot to give me back my passport as I left. I should have remembered, but I was in a rush and had to travel an hour back to hotel to retrieve it.

No lift, reception is a half flight up and rooms are another full flight. Lots of construction for the metro line in the plaza in front of the hotel. A taxi will only be able to get you within a half block. Room was very large and clean. Air conditioning worked well. Had a room facing the courtyard but late night TV and a barking dog came through the wall from a residence adjacent to my room, not another hotel room. Air Con and all lights and outlets go off when you leave the room remove the special key, so if you want to leave batteries charging while you you'll have to use something like a Palm stylis to bypass. Very close to the train station, lots of unsavoury street vendors outside.
