4.3Having stayed at this hotel previously, it was not my first choice, but a lot has changed over the years. I travel to Italy every year and this year I took my mother with as a gift to her. She's very picky so I was a bit concerned taking her here. She loved everything but the shower which was very small and slippery with no place to set down soap. She particularly liked the breakfast area and the man who worked the espresso machine. He spoke no English and she no Italian, but they got on well. The roof garden dining was not open because of the weather, but was quite lovely. There have been other improvements as well. It has a great location for sightseeing, shopping, the Molo Beverello where you catch the ferries to the islands and my favorite restaurant in Napoli is a couple of blocks away. Check out the cloister behind the hotel and the back alleys and shortcut to Santa Chiara. I would very much recommend it!
