La Terrazza di Montepulciano - Montepulciano, Italy 

We chose this Hotel because of trip advisor and the review are 100% spot on. Roberto and Victoria were oustanding. This was our first trip abroad with our 6 month old daughter. they made us feel very much at home and our daughter zara loved Roberto's attention. The accomodation is perfect, it was very clean and comfortable and very homely. they also provided a Cot bed at no extra charge. We wouod definately recomend this and return without any hesitation at all. Roberto and Victoria and wonderful people and hosts. A Wonderful Hotel and experience. If you want Posh then this is not for you, if you want a clean, central, very friendly traditional Tuscan Hotel, then this will suit you.

We wished we could have stayed more nights! Montepulciano is fascinating all by itself, but what great hosts Roberto and Victoria made! Between their broken English and our equally fractured Italian we had great conversations on the outdoor breakfast patio. Add to that really interesting other guests from the US & Czech Republic while we were there. The room was wonderful, too - large, comfortable, and quiet. The breakfasts were among the best I've had in Italy. The hotels location near the top of Montepulciano was just right - close to nearby restaurants and the piazzas at the top. There are no views of note from the hotel, but it is a 5 minute walk to viewpoints overlooking the surrounding countryside.
