Clean bedroom and bathroom. We were there as part of a tour group and were treated like second class citizens.

Just returned from one week's stay. Reception area very grand but rooms (especially my single room) in dire need of new carpet, beds, curtains etc. Clean though and bathroom facilities good - except no hairdryer. Food varied and good quality considering they had to feed 50 people together each night. Town short walk awayt, plenty of expensive shops including Cartier. Beautiful park around the corner from hotel where the spas are located. Don't miss the vernicular railway to Montacatini Alto just 3 euro each way, beautiful view of the region and unspoiled village square with restaurants for lunch. Also possible to go to Pistoia by train another medieval town on the way to Florence.
