Hotel Principe Di Savoia - Milano, Italy     

In many ways, the hotel is closely up to par with Four Seasons, but charging much less. My wife and I enjoyed our 6 night stay here. - Best is its breakfast area. Beautiful, well prepared food, overlooking georgeously manicured outdoor mini garden. - excellent, large Mosaic room, free upgraded from Deluxe. Has the best and most useful desk/closet/bathroom suite I have ever seen considering it's not-so-big in size. Deluxe room is elegantly furnished, but not to our taste and too stuffy for us with narrow and long layout. (I think the key point is to complain reasonably if you don't like what you see, any hotel you stay) - eager-to-help, excellent Concierges. - walking distance to Via della Spiga and Via MonteNapoleone where major boutique stores are, but not a pleasant area to pass by, particularly in the night. Missed the free limo whenever we tried. I think we were rather impatient. One of most expensive taxi fare city I've experienced. Boutique sales just started in Milan (we were interviewed by a TV crew - about how much we planed to spend now that sales started. E200. i knew I wouldn't make it on TV :-). Per my wife, she wants to be in Milan/july, H.K./December, Paris in January, looking for their annual sales.

Wonderful luxury hotel! Great staff service, great concierge, beautiful room and bathroom and the SPA is the cherry on the cake, not to mention the limo service to the shopping district and Scalla! Makes you feel like a star!
