3o.k, so in Milan terms this hotel is pretty cheap so I won't be too harsh! If you want a basic, central stay in a "hip" spot then this may be the place for you. The service at reception is fine, don't expect a turn down service or anything above and beyond though. The rooms are my bone of contention. Liking minimalism and design the hotel seemed a good option. The reality is the rooms are stark and depressing. Small and claustrophobic, with concrete walls and some sludge effect piece of art is what you get. Small windows, facing another building let in minimal light. Having stayed in the Malmaison, a converted prison in Oxford, I actually found the Straf room to be more prison-like. A claustrophobic and depressing experience I'm afraid to say, I couldn't wait to leave. Also be aware there is a very noisy bar attached to the hotel which may/may not appeal.
