The original facade, designed by the architect Portaluppi, dates back to the 1930’s and looks onto a spacious, centuries-old park of 4,000 square metres, filled with small paths and tall trees. The period furnishings and calming interior create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy during your stay.

The subway is only a short walk away, whilst Corso Vercelli, famous for its shopping, and Via Marghera with its typical restaurants, are within easy reach on foot. In addition to this, the hotel is close to the new Rho-Pero exhibition complex and the historical site of the Fair.

The pros: this hotel is not too far by underground train from downtown and it is not too far from The new Fair area. There is a very nice terrace at the back looking onto greenery for breakfast in good weather. The bathroom was clean and featured a bidet and shower with useful toiletries. The hotel is in a quiet location and that is pleasant. Service was pleasant. The cons: I was bitten at night and since no flying insects were present I believe that it was bed bugs. Not nice. Also the walls in my room were extremely thin so I was able to enjoy the clear and loud conversation from the room next door until late. I was even privy to the intimate sounds of a man and a woman together. Breakfast was average but fine.

This was a great find and I can recommend it. We found it on line after looking at bad reviews for other places. Its right next to an underground station and your in the Dulmo in 12 minutes. The staff are friendly, helpful, full of advice and the rooms are well kempt and very clean. The showers are great (no baths) and we had a balcony that looked onto the garden just lovely. breakfast was good with a sound selection of food that set us up for a day sight seeing. Tip the resturant opposite is wonderful and well worth a visit.
